Sydney comments, “Volunteering with Elaine at Healing Art Photography has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. Elaine leads with such compassion, purpose, and authenticity that it’s impossible not to feel inspired by the work she does. Being part of her mission to bring art and life back into hospitals has shown me how deeply creativity can support healing. It has been moving to see how something as simple as a photograph can change the feeling of a room and offer comfort to patients and their families. Contributing my time and my photography to this work has meant a lot to me, and I truly hope my photos can find their way onto more hospital walls in the future. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned from Elaine and for the chance to be part of something that helps people feel more grounded, seen, and hopeful during difficult moments.”
