Kate comments, “Hi everyone! My name is Kate Alberga, and I will be volunteering with The Foundation for Healing Photo Art in Hospitals during my spring semester in Florence. I am a Psychology and Anthropology & Sociology student at Lafayette College. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively worked with non-profit organizations dedicated to veteran support and mental/physical health, which has deepened my commitment to the foundation’s mission of bringing healing photography to hospitals worldwide. My first contribution to the foundation is a photograph captured along the breathtaking shores of Easter Island. I truly believe in the transformative power of art in enhancing well-being, and am honored to support this meaningful initiative.”
