My friend, Giorgio Seminati, from Bergamo who was infected with COVID-19 wrote me this morning that he is finally out of the Bergamo hospital after 2 months of a really, really tough time and 4 COVID-19 tests. His daughter was one of his nurses. His brother died of the virus a month ago. This is real life for many in Italy… and I am understanding more and more the suffering that this virus is bringing to many around the world… I met Giorgio 7 years ago when we coordinated a project of 250 photos for the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, (where he spent the last two months).
