Yasmin Schepens, Contributing Photographer

Many thanks to our new Contributing Photographer, Yasmin Schepens, from Vancouver, Canada for this lovely photo! Yasmin comments, “Nature has always helped me heal faster. It is just the way nature works. It is miraculous.  When some people are not able to go out in nature anymore it is so important for them to still be able to experience the effect nature has on human beings.  Photographs are an excellent way to evoke that same feeling even if you have to stay inside. Bringing the outside in, is an amazing way to deal with depression and it calms the mind.  I am a believer in what Healing Photo Art accomplishes and that’s why I have also donated one of my photos.  It is a wonderful initiative that was created out of love and that’s why it is so powerful and true.
