A Busy Day!
Today I delivered 50 photos to Don Gnocchi Hospital in Florence, shipped 40 photos to hospitals in Texas, 57 photos to hospitals in Virginia, 12 photos to a hospital in Missouri, and 26 photos to be framed for a hospital in Minnesota… Did I mention that last week I shipped out another 76 photos to hospitals in Virginia? And tomorrow I will prepare photos for a Psychiatric Children’s Center in Indiana!

Chianti Star Festival
Art and science coincided in a spectacular way in one of the most beautiful settings in the world – San Donato in Poggio, in the heart of Tuscany at the first edition of the Chianti Star Festival where Elaine Poggi presented the Foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals!

Sparta Convenient Care Receives Photos
A collection of 30 photographs was dedicated recently in memory of Mary Ann Clendenin at the Convenient Care Center in Sparta, Illinois in a ceremony attended by family and friends. The project was sponsored by the Clendenin family.

Benefit Dinner for Don Gnocchi Hospital
We were able to raise funds to give 50 of our beautiful nature photos to the Don Gnocchi Hospital, Florence, Italy! Everyone enjoyed the music of the band “The Darks”! Most of the food was imported from Reggio Calabria! Our photos were on display for all to admire. It was a great evening!!

Convention in Florence, Italy
Elaine Poggi’s presentation at the convention “Abitare la cura” went beautifully! The Auditorium was amazing, full of doctors, nurses, hospital workers. The other speakers – architects, doctors, professors, philosophers, nurses – were very interesting. Our hope is that our nature photos and those of our Contributing Photographers can encourage healing in hospitals around the world!!
